Have fun and worked hard: Does NL at Titurel
We begin Saturday morning with a cup of coffee or tea – good to see you again – what are we going to do today? Plans are enough: who helps to build two benches? We want to place along the trail in the forest. Before placing bat nesting boxes we find a daredevil with no fear of heights. And there are also volunteers, besides cleaning up the storm damage from last week, to help with the pruning of rhododendrons? Check, check, double check.
Our volunteers come from different angles; We are pleased to count on our friends with whom we have many years winter will truncate. We all know each other so well, The meeting is at once cheerful and dividing the work easy. For residents and participants who join, feels familiar: They love to help a helping hand!
After we had a few hours to work, it was time to the workshop we refuel and gather for coffee / tea and cake.
Then the sleeves are rolled back and we continue to work; Meanwhile cook Bass will bring lunch: freshly made soup and sandwiches with sausage and sauerkraut.
delicious hear, so can join! On this occasion Piet holds, one of the volunteers that we can always count, a beautiful speech and surprised us with a beautiful plate. It immediately found a spot on the wall in the wood shop. Happy with!
We go for a bit of work – Then we gather under the banner of NL Does, the now admired benches timbered together, for a group.
Then Ronald is our guide for a short walk through the woods – where he tells us enthusiastically what we take in the forest and garden, and why we do it. to work even as we enjoy a half hour or fifth and then take leave. It was a beautiful day!
