Michael's feast

23 September we celebrated the Michaels party. The weather was calm and on our forest walk we were the first to meet the forest lady. She gave us a delicious piece of apple! Singing we went further into the forest to defeat the dragon. We had a strong Michael this year and the dragon had to lose out!

Once back at Titurel, we baked delicious apple turnovers for our volunteers; After all, the Michaelmas celebration is also a thanksgiving celebration, and there is much to thank our volunteers for!
We talked together about the year that has passed: which one (inner) we have defeated dragons? And what victories have we achieved?? What are we grateful for??
Janny tells how she heard someone say last week: “I don't count sheep to fall asleep, but my blessings.” Those are nice thoughts to fall asleep to!
