Afgelopen zomer zijn we gestart met het verbouwen van het dierenverblijf tot nieuwe werkplaats. Daar is in het voorjaar van 2017 al heel wat aan vooraf gegaan; eerst moest immers een ander dierenverblijf voor onze dieren gemaakt worden. Dat bracht veel werk met zich mee. Er moest opgeruimd, vertimmerd, verzaagd, versjouwd. Toen kon het nieuwe (tijdelijke) dierenverblijf in gebruik genomen worden en werd de aftrap gegeven het voormalige dierenverblijf te verbouwen naar: de nieuwe werkplaats.
